Tamil Nadu - land of religious harmony

I was excited to cover the story of two friends whose names are etched in the history for religious harmony practised in Tamil Nadu many centuries ago.

Rameswaram is the land of Hindu God Rama has another interesting tale on Hindu Muslim friendship. Many mosques are built in Dravidian architecture style. Fascinating to document the friendship between Kizhavan Sethupathy king and his Finance minister Seethakathi had sown seeds for religious harmony.

தாய்லாந்து அரசர் இறந்த செய்தி வெளியானவுடன், அங்குள்ள சூழல் குறித்து தாய்லாந்து தமிழ் சங்கத்தின் தலைவர் தேவாஸிடம் பேசினேன். அங்கு பொது மக்கள் அவரை மிகவும் பக்தியோடு எண்ணுவதாக கூறினார்.
